About the Chamber: The North Jersey Regional Chamber, one of the largest Chambers in Northern New Jersey and one of the largest in the state, offers a variety of services and programs that aredesigned to be of benefit to its members. Listed below are just some of the services that will be available to you as a member. The investment is minimal, and the potential benefits are unlimited!
Networking: The Chamber is PEOPLE----people who work and socialize together in the interest of expanding their businesses. Every Chamber activity is an opportunity for you to meet other people who may be in need of your product or service, or who may be of assistance to you and your business.
Publications: Chamber members receive a variety of publications. Business Matters is our
bi-monthly newsletter, which provides up-to-the-minute information on all upcoming Chamber activities and reports on the results of recently-held programs. The Products & Services Guide and Membership Directory is an annual directory of all Chamber members, listing important information about each firm. The directory features a classified section which lists members under categories corresponding to the nature of their business. The Chamber also notifies members about upcoming programs and events through regular email alerts.
Advertising: Chamber members have the opportunity to promote their businesses by advertising in all publications. This option is available to members only.
Direct Mail "PIGGY BACK" Program: Chamber members have the opportunity to mail a flyer promoting their business to all other Chamber members. For a nominal fee, you can get your advertising message to important decision makers by direct mail.
Seminars and Workshops: The Chamber plans seminars and workshops on a variety of topics throughout the year. These programs are designed to educate and inform, and to demonstrate ways to save money and make money.
Mixer Series: The Chamber hosts bimonthly mixers, at member firms. These low-cost events enable attendees to hear about the host business and to swap business cards with other business people in a social, informal atmosphere.
Governmental Affairs: An extremely active Governmental Affairs Committee that meets weekly and monitors current local, state and federal legislation that is of importance to business. The committee provides you, the Chamber member, with the opportunity to have your voice heard in government.
Social Events: The Annual STAR Gala, Sports Spectacular Dinner, SAVOR Food Festival and Chamber Invitational Golf Classic are among the premier social events of the year, and provide unlimited networking opportunities.
Certificates of Origin: The Chamber office documents ("Chamberizes") letters and certificates of origin for companies that require the service. You must be a Chamber member to receive this service free of charge.
State and National Chambers: As a member of the North Jersey Regional Chamber, you become affiliated with the New Jersey State Chamber and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Important state and national business is monitored by these organizations and distributed to our local Chamber whenever necessary.
Information: Among The Chamber's most time-consuming activities is responding to questions from members and the general public. The Chamber is a valuable resource, whether you are inquiring about a business, where to get assistance with a business problem, and local, county, state or federal agencies and their telephone numbers.
