Power Networking is an intensive form of networking within the North Jersey Regional Chamber of Commerce that can produce real results because:

  • Members get to know each other very well
  • What services their businesses provide
  • Their competitive advantages
  • The kinds of customers they want
  • Members are committed to refer each other to potential customers
  • Members are committed to regular and punctual attendance at PNG meetings - this is how they really get to know each other

Power Networking Group 1

MEETING FORMAT:

  • 8:15 am: 15 minutes of informal networking
  • 8:45 am: Round-the-table 60-second elevator presentations by all member
  • 9:00 am: One member, rotating at every meeting, delivers a 15-minute in-depth presentation about his/her business. This is a sales pitch to the members so they can refer the presenter with confidence to third parties. Samples, brochures, flyers, etc. may be distributed by the presenter to the members
  • 9:15 am: Presentation of what referrals have been made among members for the preceding period, and their approximate cumulative value
  • 9:30 am: Presentation of ‘PNGroup’ current business issues, upcoming events of interest, etc.9:45 am: Adjourn

The ‘Power Networking Group’ meets every other Monday at 8:15 am sharp at the Chamber Boardroom located at 1033 Route 46 East, Clifton, NJ. Meetings follow a regular format and end promptly at 9:30.

Each meeting is presided over by the Group President who controls the schedule, and by the Group Vice President who manages Guests and keeps score on referrals.

Guests are welcome! Anyone interested in learning more about ‘Power Networking’ is invited to attend two sessions. Guests will be introduced to the Group and asked to present their 60-second elevator pitch. Guests will also be asked for their reactions to the sessions.

All NJRCC Members are invited to join the ‘Power Networking Group’. To avoid competition among participants within the same industry, members will be requested to limit their product offerings to those services that are unique within the Group.
